In a large bowl, combine the beef slices with all the marinade ingredients. Mix well until the beef is evenly coated. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes, or for better results, leave it in the refrigerator overnight.
Cook the Beef:
Heat a large pan or wok over high heat. Add 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Once hot, add the marinated beef in batches, spreading it out to ensure it cooks evenly. Stir-fry each batch for 2-3 minutes or until just cooked through. Remove the beef from the pan and set aside.

In a small bowl, mix the dark soy sauce with 80 ml of water. Pour this sauce over the beef and vegetables in the pan.
Stir everything together and cook for another 2-3 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly and coat the beef and vegetables evenly.
Serve:
Once everything is well combined and heated through, transfer the beef and onion stir fry to a serving dish. Serve hot with steamed rice or noodles.
